CROCODILES

Crocodiles spend most of their time in water, but can’t breath or swallow food under water. Crocodiles are cold blooded. Their body temperature is the same as their surroundings.

The only crocodiles in the United States are found in Florida swamps. Crocodiles eat fish and land animals that come down to the waters edge to drink. Crocodiles are clumsy on land, but they are good swimmers.
