On Monday, George brought his scooter that he won from the magazine sale to school. At school, everyone in Mrs. Pucciarello's class was doing their seatwork. George was very bored. So, he decided to play with his scooter.

George jumped onto his scooter and drove it all over the classroom. Then, he jumped his scooter onto Mrs. Pucciarello's desk. Next, he leaped over to Scott's desk and then jumped to Kaitlin's desk. Then he jumped to Pres's desk and then to Nick's desk. Then he jumped off of Nick's desk and rode around Jennifer's, Alexandra's, Marisa's, and McCall's desks.

Next, he jumped onto Danielle's desk and he did a wheely. That made Amber, Jackson and Joel laugh. Zachary asked, "Why are you guys laughing?" They said, "George is riding his scooter."

Zachary said, "Isn't that the one from the magazine sale?" Amber said, "I think so." Then, Mrs. Pucciarello came walking into the classroom and saw that the kids were talking and laughing. Mrs. Pucciarello saw George up on Danielle's desk on his scooter. Mrs. Pucciarello didn't like that. She made George pull a card. This made George so mad that he rode his scooter back home to the Reading Cave.

The next day, Mrs. Pucciarello gave the whole class a math test. George was scared because he knew that he didn't study for the test. He took the test, but couldn't answer many of the questions.

After Mrs. Pucciarello graded the tests, she returned them. George saw that he failed the test. He went back to the Reading Cave, crying. Bethany, Savannah, Hunter and Bo went into the Reading Cave to check on George. He was still there crying about his bad grade. "Why are you crying?" asked Bo. "Because I failed the math test," said George. "Why are you so sad about getting a bad grade?" asked Savannah. "Because I got an F," said George. "Don't worry," said Bethany, "we will help you study for the next test." "Yeah!" said Savannah.

So, everyday after school, Bethany, Savannah, Hunter and Bo went with George to the Reading Cave. They worked on math everyday. Then, on the next test, George got a 100%. He was so happy. He thanked Bethany, Savannah, Hunter and Bo for helping him. He said to them, "I have learned my lesson. From now on I am going to obey Mrs. Pucciarello and pay attention in class."
