Students submitting stories to the StudentLibrary / BooksByChildren must complete the Terms and Agreement for Submission, Review and Publishing of Your Story, which agreement must be signed by the parent or legal guardian, if the student is 16 or younger. This agreement requests information about or related to the author or artist of the story submitted, for the following purposes:

1) Notifying winners of the Writing Contests;

2) Verifying eligibility and grade classification for prize award purposes;

3) Delivering prizes to winners;

4) Giving global recognition to those individuals, teachers and schools, whose skills and commitment to educational excellence, have resulted in exceptional accomplishments.

The StudentLibrary / BooksByChildren do not seek or collect information from children apart from that agreement [which must be signed by the parent or legal guardian if the student is 16 or younger], and parents or legal guardians should maintain, for their records, a copy of the information sent to the library.

The library may provide Internet "links" to other educational or service providers, whose Privacy Policies will be posted by the respective entities.

If you have any comments or questions you may send them to the Editor, who is also a minor, which means you should be careful what you say and how you say it. Inappropriate questions or comments will be forwarded to the authorities.
